नमस्कार मित्रो!  आज की बात में फिर हम एक शहादत को नमन करेंगे। हम ऐसी तीन शख्सियतों के विषय में चर्चा करने जा रहे हैं जिनका जीवन मूल्य ही मात्रभूमि की आजादी था। जिनके नाम हैं श्रीमान लीला, श्रीनिवास शर्मा व श्री जगदीश उर्फ जग्गो। यह तीनों ही बाल्यावस्था से ही सेनानी और क्रांतिकारियों की सेवाओं में तत्परता से कार्य करते थे। बच्चा होने के कारण अंग्रेजों का ईन पर ध्यान नहीं जाता था और यह महत्वपूर्ण सूचनायें आजादी वीरों को

मुहैया करा देते थे। बात 1930 यानी नमक सत्याग्रह को लेकर मथुरा ही नहीं अपितु पूरा देश स्वर में था। यह तीनों की किशोरावस्था से निकल रहे थे अंग्रेजों की नजरों में चढ़ चुके थे। बताते हैं कि चुंगी झंडा केस के अपराध में इन तीनों को गिरफ्तार किया गया था। 06 नवंबर 1930 को तीनों को एक-एक वर्ष का कठोर कारावास व 10-10 रुपये के अर्थदंड दंडित किया गया था। कठोर यातनाओं के बाद भी जब अंग्रेजों के सामने यह नहीं झुके तो इन्हें 25 जनवरी 1931को लखनऊ की कैंप जेल में सिफ्ट किया गया जहाँ पर अति कठोर यातनाएं दी गई। नख और बाल खींच ने जैसी यातनाओं से इनके शरीर जर्जावस्था में थे। बमुश्किल इन तीनों वीरों ने यातनायें झेलते हुए सजा अवधी को पार किया। तीनों की हालत बहुत ही दयनीय थी। जेल के बाद जगदीश (जग्गो) ने तो लगभग खाट ही पकड़ ली थी और कुछ महीनों के बाद श्री जगदीश आजादी की जंग में आज के ही दिन शहादत में अपना नाम दर्ज कर गये। पुण्य तिथि पर नमन है आपको।

 Hello friends!  In today's talk, again we will pay tribute to a martyr.  We are going to discuss about three such personalities whose life value was the freedom of the motherland.  Whose names are Mr. Leela, Srinivas Sharma and Mr. Jagdish alias 

Jaggo.  All three of them used to work readily in the services of fighters and revolutionaries from their childhood.  Being a child, the British did not pay attention to them and they used to provide important information to the freedom fighters.  Not only Mathura, but the whole country was in voice about the 1930s i.e. Salt Satyagraha.  These three were coming out of their teens and had climbed in the eyes of the British.  It is said that these three were arrested in the crime of octroi flag case.  On 06 November 1930, all three were punished with one year rigorous

imprisonment and fine of Rs.10 each.  Even after severe torture, when he did not bow down to the British, he was sent to the Camp Jail in Lucknow on 25 January 1931, where he was subjected to severe torture.  Their bodies were in dilapidated condition due to torture like pulling nails and hair.  Barely these three heroes passed the sentence while suffering tortures.  The condition of all three was very pathetic.  After the jail, Jagdish (Jaggo) had almost caught the cot and after a few months Shri Jagdish registered his name in the martyrdom on this day in the freedom struggle.  Salute to you on your death anniversary.
