नमस्कार मित्रो ! आज की बात में हम आपको एक ऐसी महिला सेनानी से मिलाने जा रहे हैं, जिन्होंने अंग्रेजों को नाक चना बिनवा दिये थे।

इन श्रद्धेय महिला सेनानी का नाम है श्रीमती प्रकाशवती सिन्हा।  ऐसा कहा जाता है कि यह इलाहाबाद से चलकर मथुरा भगवान की खोज में आई थी। इन्होंने ध्रुव घाट मथुरा पर  तपस्या भी की थी, लेकिन परिवार के विरोध के चलते यह वैराग्य के मार्ग पर तो न चल सकी, मगर मथुरा में परिवार वालों ने इनको अध्ययन करने दिया। जहाँ पं. मथुराप्रसाद, श्रीमती मनोरमा देवी शास्त्री आदि के संपर्क में आने से उच्च जीवनदर्शन की प्राप्ति हुई। 1930 में आपने 

अजमेर में ऐसा जोशीला भाषण दिया कि हर कोई भाषण के बाद आजादी के रंग रंगा दिखाई दिया। यहां ही इन्होंने नमक कानून को तोड़ अंग्रेजों को मानो खुली चुनौती दी थी। यहाँ पर ही श्रीमती प्रकाशवती सिन्हा पहली बार अंग्रेजों की जेल यात्रा पर गई। इनके गिरफ्तार करते ही ऐसा लग रहा था मनो आजदी की अंध में आग लग गई हो। क्योंकि अजमेर की सड़कों पर इनके समर्थन में पब्लिक उमड़ पड़ी थी। इसको देखते हुए अंग्रेजी हुकूमत ने आपको तत्काल लखनऊ की जेल भेज दिया था।

        1932 में मथुरा की जनसभा में फिर एक जोशीला भाषण दिया तो अंग्रेजों ने इनको फिर तीन मास के लिए जेल भेज दिया। जेल से छूटने के बाद 12 जनवरी 1933 को इन्हे फिर एक मौका मिला तो इस बार के भाषण से मथुरा की सड़कों पर लोगों का हज्जूत उमड़ पड़ा था और फिर से इनको छह माह के कठोर कारावास के लिए जेल भेज दिया गया। इसके बाद इनके लिए गवर्नर ने डीएम के लिए नोटिस जारी किया कि श्रीमती सिन्हा पर नजर रखी

जय और उन्हें कहीं पर भी भाषण न दने दिया जाय। गवर्नर की इस चुनौती को आपने धता बताते हुए आज ही के दिन एक नवेली दुल्हन के भेष में मंदिर श्री द्वारिकाधीश में प्रवेश किया और मंदिर की छत से आपने आजादी के आंदोलन से संबंधित पर्चे लोगों के बीच अपने समर्थनकों के सहयोग से लुटाये। साथ ही मथुरा के आजादी के आंदोलन में आग भड़का देने वाला जोशीला भाषण दिया। जब तक पुलिस इनके पास पहुँचती पूरा बाजार व उस क्षेत्र की गली-गली और छत-छत पर महौल क्रांतिकारी नारो से गुंजायमान हो उठा था। भारी पुलिस बल के साथ इस महान महिला सेनानी के साथ हजारों की संख्या में लोगों जेल जाने लिए सडको पर टूट पड़े थे, लेकिन इनके कुछ चुनिंदा सहयोगियों के साथ अंग्रेजी पुलिस ने बड़ी मशक्कत के बाद इनको जेल भेजा था । जय हो महिला सेनानी की, जय जय देश भवानी की। 🙏

     In 1932, when he again gave a passionate speech in the public meeting of Mathura, the British again sent him to jail for three months.  On January 12, 1933, after his release from jail, he got a chance again, this time the speech of the people had gathered on the streets of Mathura and again he was sent to jail for six months of rigorous imprisonment.  After this, the Governor issued a notice to the DM to keep an eye on Mrs. Sinha and not let her speech anywhere.  Defying this challenge of the governor, you entered the temple Shri Dwarkadhish in the guise of a new bride on this day and from the roof of the temple you looted pamphlets related to the freedom movement among the people with the help of your supporters.  Along with this, he gave a passionate speech inciting the fire in the freedom movement of Mathura.  By the time the police reached them, the entire market and the street and roof of that area had resonated with revolutionary slogans.  Along with this great female fighter with heavy police force, thousands of people had broken on the streets to go to jail, but after a lot of hard work, the English police, along with some of her selected associates, sent her to jail.  Jai Ho women fighter, Jai Jai Desh Bhavani.  🙏
