नमस्कार मित्रों! आज हम जिस शख्सियत का आपके साथ मंथन करेंगे वह वाकई देश भक्ति और समाज के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा त्याग और बलिदान था। क्योंकि सन 1932 में आज के ही दिन इस शख्सियत को हमारे लिए अमानवीय कृत्य झेलना पड़ा था। सुनने के बाद आपकी भी रूह कांप उठेगी।
इस शख्सियत का नाम है महान सेनानी मुंशी गजाधर सिंह। भारत मां के इस लाल का जन्म सन 1895 में 25 दिसंबर को तहसील सिकंदराराऊ के खुशहाल गढ़ में हुआ था। आपकी वैसे तो ज्यादा जिंदगी जेल में ही गुजरी, मगर कुछ चंद जेल यात्राएं हैं, जिसमें सन 1930 में छह मास का कठोर कारावास और ₹ 50 का जुर्माना। सन 1932 में 18 माह की कड़ी कैद और ₹ 50 का जुर्माना। यह ही ना काफी नहीं है इस 18 माह की जेल में तो अंग्रेजों ने अमानवीयता की सारी हदें पर कर दी थी। जितना भी अमानवीय कृत्य हो सकता था अंग्रेजों ने इस महान सेनानी के साथ किया था। यह ही नहीं अंग्रेजों ने इनके पैरों में लोहे की किलें तक ठोक दी थी। मुख्य बात तो यह है कि अपार कष्ट सहते हुए भी
आपने वंदेमातरम का नारा नहीं छोड़ा था। बताया तो यह भी जाता है जो जल्लाद इनके पैरों में कील ठोंक रहे थे, वह भी कांप गए थे। इसके अलावा 1943 में 3 वर्ष की कठोर जेल। 1946 में एक वर्ष की कठोर जेल की कुछ चुनिंदा यादें हैं जो मुंशी जी के अपार देशभक्ति और अपने समाज के लिए व्यक्तित्व और कृतित्व को स्पष्ट करती हैं। अगर इनके उस पर वक्त के साथियों की चर्चाओं पर जायें मुंशी जी की यातनाओं से अच्छी मौत थी। अर्थात मौत की सजा में तो थोड़ी देर की अपार तकलीफ होती है, लेकिन अंग्रेजी जेल अमानवीय यातिनायें कई मौतों के बराबर थी।

In 1932, 18 months rigorous imprisonment and a fine of ₹ 50. Not only this is not enough, in this 18-month jail, the British had done all the limits of inhumanity. Whatever inhuman act could have been done by the British to this great fighter. Not only this, the British even put iron forts at their feet. The main thing is that even after suffering immense suffering, you did not give up the slogan of Vande Mataram. If told, it is also known that the executioners who were hammering nails into their feet were also trembling. Also 3 years rigorous imprisonment in 1943. There are a few selected memories of a year of harsh prison in 1946 which make clear Munshi ji's immense patriotism and personality and creativity for his society. If we go to the discussions of his companions on that time, Munshi ji had a good death by torture. That is, in the death sentence, there is a lot of pain for a while, but the inhuman tortures of the English prison were equal to many deaths.
